Ticqiz.com is a new online sports quiz site, providing free entertainment for sports fans with the aim that they can win tickets to sporting events, or sporting items relevant to a particular event.
Test quizzes have been successfully run in the UK, the initial target market, for a major European rugby match, a leading UK horse racing occasion and a major international motor racing event, with the winners of each competition enjoying a good outing.
Ticqiz.com has now launched another two quizzes: one is a Charity Shield football quiz where the winners can choose a retro strip of their favourite British or Irish football club from the years 1975-95. The shirts are provided by Toffs, the official home of retro football shirts, the lead sponsor of this quiz. The second quiz is on the world’s most popular historic motor race meeting, the Goodwood Revival - this time in association with the historic motorsports website classicrallies.com
The ticqiz.com site also has a news service, updated daily, giving the latest sports headlines as well as a calendar of major sporting events.

The ticqiz.com venture was set up following the founders’ frustrations when trying to obtain tickets to events and being offered “lousy tickets where you can’t see much and you pay a fortune for the privilege”. With ticqiz.com the punter gets some free online entertainment and the chance of winning something worthwhile. And for the corporate world ticqiz.com provides a platform to advertise, sponsor and promote goods and services to an interesting and targeted market.
