Now considered to be one of the prime, must-see Spanish Riviera destinations, Torremolinos was once an impoverished fishing village. It is located west of Malaga City, at the Malaga province south of Spain. It was amongst the first Costa del Sol municipalities that progressed and has thrived so much because of its tourism industry. Obviously, the city has grown and is far different from where it was back then. Torremolinos is now a picture of a vibrant, lively city and well-liked amongst British tourists and expatriates.

To get to Barcelona is to pass through El Prat or the Barcelona International Airport which is ten kilometres away from the city. From the airport you can take a taxi or take the RENFE train which stops at different areas of the city. You can also take the Aerobus that depart every six to nine minutes or the Nit Bus if you’re travelling by night.
